Last summer, Grace and I met at a journalism conference with one representative from each state: I was Iowa, and she was Louisiana. We became close friends soon after, and in April, the two of us reunited in Chicago, Illinois so I could take her senior photos. These photos were taken at Millennium Park, outside the Chicago Institute, and on docks near Lake Michigan. Getting to do this destination-style shoot was so much fun and produced some of my best images to date. Here are some of my favorites:
